Hi, I’m Cassidy! Welcome to my book blog! I read mostly prose fiction and comics. My favorite genres are horror, mystery, and supernatural thrillers. Some of my recent favorite authors have been Simone St. James, Grady Hendrix, Rachel Harrison, and Darcy Coates. I primarily read books written for teens and adults, but I do read and enjoy some middle grade titles. When reading graphic novels and manga, my genre tastes vary more widely, veering from realistic and slice-of-life all the way into sci-fi and fantasy. These days, I don’t read much nonfiction, romance, or poetry, but that could change!

I’m a second-career librarian (formerly a high school teacher). I have an MFA in creative writing and an MS in information sciences. I work as an adult/teen librarian at a public library, and my opinions are entirely my own. When indicated, I have received complimentary copies of the books I’ve read in exchange for honest reviews. I’m addicted to Goodreads and NetGalley. I have an ungodly home library full of books that I will never read. I do most of my reading digitally, via ebooks and audiobooks, at the moment.
